January 20, 2009 – MyCashNow.com recently teamed up with the Discover® Card Network to bring customers an exciting new My Cash Card. The new card will provide customers with even faster access to a cash advance during a financial emergency. This improved service will offer customers the same convenience while allowing them more places to use the "New” My Cash Card, including any ATM location or anywhere Discover® Cards are accepted.
Customers already using the previous My Cash Card are aware of how easy it is to borrow, fast cash online. My Cash Card users avoid long waits and have quicker access to cash loans by choosing to load funds automatically to their card. Same day cash is instantly available as soon as their payday loan is approved. Payday loans deposited to a bank account could take a couple of days if the loan application is completed over a weekend.
The same easy way to manage card accounts online 24 hours a day will be available with the new card. Easy notification to the Secure Cash Network at 1-800-710-3909, if a card is ever lost or stolen, will also still remain the same.
Customers can get the new My Cash Card mailed to them for free and will also enjoy free credit transactions on purchases. When a customer’s payday loan is processed, a small $5.00 convenience fee will be added to the card’s loan balance to cover ATM fees. If the card is never used for transactions, the $5.00 will then go directly to the customer’s loan principle.
New My Cash Cards from MyCashNow and Discover® were mailed to existing customers in October. New loans are no longer being loaded to the older cards, but remaining balances (loaded prior to the October 31, 2008 deadline) are still valid for purchases.
